ABS Institute help people who are unemployed or underemployed to start their own business and work for themselves via programs like:
Self-Employment Assistance
Self-Employment Assistance is a program funded by the Australian Federal Government aimed at assisting people to explore the opportunities of self-employment as an alternative to gaining full time work. It allows people to choose the support that best fits their needs to run a successful small business and will replace the New Business Assistance with NEIS program.
Exploring Self-Employment Assistance Workshops
The ‘Exploring Self-Employment’ Workshops are designed to give you a taste of entrepreneurship, self-employment and support those that have a business idea or dream of being their own boss.
The workshops will cover 6 key topics to give you an appreciation of how to start your own business and whether entrepreneurship is a viable career path for you. Contact us for more information about workshop start dates and locations or register your interest online.
We also help you develop and improve your business via programs that build knowledge and skills for managers and employees:
